Francis X. Bruton ("F.X.") has practiced law for 35 years, with more than 30 of those years having been within the state of New Hampshire. Prior to practicing in New Hampshire, F.X. practiced for 4 years in Cambridge, Massachusetts as General Counsel to an architectural and engineering consulting firm. His practice consists of representing many of the major developers located within New Hampshire Seacoast, having appeared before almost every municipal land use boards within Strafford and Rockingham counties, as well as many across the entire state of New Hampshire. Attorney Bruton focuses upon real estate transactions, planning and zoning hearings, litigation, and business acquisitions.
Attorney Bruton's case before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, Churchill Realty Trust v. City of Dover Zoning Board of Adjustment, 156 NH 668 (2008), is the first reported case interpreting zoning authority amongst abutting municipalities.
Attorney Bruton is a licensed title insurance agent as well as a licensed real estate broker within New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
